Food is a tool of healing in my community and something that we can fall back on when things are in disarray. Growing up in Atlanta Hot Fries, Hot Wings and Honey Buns have always been a go-to food amongst my friends. Therefore this song is a representation of my childhood and is dedicated to the Black community. There’s a universal message implicated within the instrumentation and lyrics sounding the theme of “Police Brutality, Toxic. Now let me tell you what I did today.
